What we dont know is the fact...

Hi there bloggers,
Just like to share a note received via facebook from a friend.
1. When we pass by a prostitute, many would say "Euww.. she's a dirty lady(slut) excuse me for the term!".

But what we do not know is the fact she was sold to a pimp by her father at the age of 10 to pay his debt.
2. When we meet an ex-convict, many simply say "That's a bad person. Dont go near him/her".

But what we do not know is the fact that he was wrongly accused of bribery by his own closest friend.

3.When we meet a man with a disfigured face, many would comment" Euww..he is so ugly. Who would want to marry him?".

But what we do not know is the fact that he lost his good looks in the attempt to save his mother from a fire.

Are we being fair to these people? Sometimes without realising, we say hurtful things, we give cynical side looks or we make faces when we see or meet people with some impurities. After reading this, I realised we should never judge a person just from a glimpse. We do not know the true story behind everything we see. Some may be devastating, some maybe hurtful stories. We may think we have a perfect job, perfect life, perfect family and marriage but do we have the rights to stereotype others? Next time, if we do not know the facts,we better keep our mouth shut and see the positive angles of the person. Hopefully, people will also see the good side of us. Smile......................:)
